Spanish Verbs

Definition: The verb expresses an action, event or state. In Spanish, a verb, to be used in forming a complete sentence, must be accompanied by a noun or pronoun that is acting, existing or in a mode of being. (In Spanish, it is common for the noun to be implied without being explicitly stated.)
Examples in Spanish: The verb expresses action - Pablo echó la camisa a la basura. The verb expresses existente - Mi madre está en casa. The verb expresses state of being - Los árboles son verdes. Types Spanish verbs: Regular Verbs An regular verb is when verb ending in -ar, -er and -ir. -ar verbs (like hablar) -er verbs (like comer) -ir verbs (like vivir) Irregular Verbs. An irregular verb is one which does not follow standard rules of conjugation in the different verb tenses.
