Tomato and basil salad



INGREDIENTS:
  • 500 g of fresh ripe tomatoes

  • 15 ml (1 spoon) of vinegar

  • 45 ml (3 spoons) of olive oil

  • salt

  • black peppercorns

  • some branches of dried basil

PREPARATION:
  • Cut the tomatoes into slices or thinly sliced.

  • Spread it with vinegar, oil, salt and black pepper.

  • Chop the basil leaves and spread over the surface.

  • VARIANTS and SECRETS:

  • If you can prepare it in advance, juices and flavors will blend in a better way.

  • You can combine it with anchovies if you aren't vegetarian; it would give a good flavor.
