dame, dame, dame vino amargo.

Tell me that you love me,
tell it to me by God
even if you don't feel it, even it is a lie
but tell me it.
Say it quietly,
it will be easier for you to tell me that
and your "I love you" will be for my sorrow
the same as rain from May and April
have mercy of my heart.
Tell me that you love me, tell me,
Tell me that you love me
tell it to me by God.

I love you more than life,
I love you more than my eyes
or more than the air that I breathe,
and more than my mother.
My pulses stop if I left to love you,
the bells bend me if I fail you ever.
You are my life and my death,
I swear you, my mate
I shouldn't love you, I shouldn't love you
and however I love you.

Bitter wine that don't brings joy,
although I get drunk I can't forget her
because I remember her
Give, give, give me bitter wine.
That bitter, bitter, bitter
for loving her more.
This sorrow of mine
is stabbing me night and day,
this sorrow of mine, if I'm alone, it gives me company.
If you see that I'm sad again it turns to joy
if you see me lose my guides
is that haunts me and is agonizing
but I'm happy
but I'm happy with my sorrow.
With the grief of mine.
