All Spanish-speaking countries have their local customs and religious festivals such as Carnival, Easter Week, all Saints Day, Christmas, New Year, etc. Events, festivals and holidays are celebrated in different ways and vary from a Spanish speaking country to another. Almost all the festivals are religious, mostly Christian-Catholic. Drink in Spain
The Spanish people drink wine thanks to their own special wine production. But in Spain also there are great breweries that produce different types of beers such light and large-like beers. The main producers of table wines are "Riojas" and "Valdepeñas" for that reason bear their names.

In Spain they drink lots of coffee but in small cups, and this is a good black coffee, very strong and slightly bitter. Coffee with milk is the most popular coffee in Europe and Latin America and is very rich. In Spain also drink bottled water of two types, fizzy water and still water.

Food in Spain
The food in Spain is simple and modest. Its secret is the combination of ingredients and the finesse of the aromas. The tapas in a traditional snack in Spain and is the best way to enjoy the local cuisine. The word "tapa" comes from a custom very old, cover (tapar) the cups or glasses with bread or ham to keep out flies and dust. The tapas are served in bars and restaurants.
